Akhil Joshi

A full-stack engineer: Java and Node on the back end, React on the front

I build full-stack products for banking, payments and healthcare: backends in Java and Spring Boot or in Node.js and NestJS, and interfaces in React and TypeScript. Behind them, event-driven systems on Apache Kafka, shaped with CQRS, Saga and Domain-Driven Design, and shipped to AWS, Azure, Kubernetes and OpenShift.

Seven years across GlobalLogic, Deloitte, UnitedHealth Group (Optum) and Synechron, where I was a senior consultant on Emirates NBD's payments platform until June 2026. I also build AI-enabled backends: RAG on locally hosted models.
